Purchase an engraving to honor the veteran in your life
Engraved in granite tablets will
be the names of veterans that served
in the following United States military branches: Air Force, Army, Coast
Guard, Marines, Merchant Marines and Navy.
Become a part of
the
Honoring All Veterans Memorial in Richfield by having your name, or the Veteran of
your choice, engraved on a granite memorial tablet. The names of all
Veterans are welcome on the memorial, active or retired, wartime or
peacetime, full service or reserves, deceased or living and regardless of
residency. The only qualification for an engraving is an honorable
discharge,
Engraving price is
$400 per name which includes first name, middle initial, last name, and
branch of service. MIA, KIA and POW will be recognized also in the engraving. All
proceeds from engraving sales will be applied to the cost of the new
memorial. Payment plans and sponsorships are available (see bottom of
this page for more information about the Sponsor-A-Vet program).
Names will be added on a first-come, first-served
basis. Names will be randomly placed on the granite tablets. There is no
separation of Veterans by branch, time served, wartime or peace time.
For those who wish to have Veterans listed in a group on the tablets, we
have an option available. Families, friends and/or organizations may submit
their order forms and payments as a group. Your names will be listed
together on a column of the granite tablet and will not be split between
tablets.
The statue unveiling will be held on July 4, 2008, 3:00
pm. The completion date of Phase One depends on the number of engravings
purchased.

Please list all of the
givers of the engraving. These names will be featured on this website when
all engraved names are published.

NOTE: The program used to
purchase engravings online is a class registration program. So, each
engraving you purchase will require a different registrant (if you
purchase two engravings, you will need to set up your account with two
people. Each person in the account will purchase one engraving). Also, you
will see references to program registration that may not apply to the
purchase of engravings. Follow the steps below to set up an account
and purchase an engraving:
1. Click on the My Account tab and the
Create New Account button.
2. For each name in the buyer's account, enter your information
(name, gender, birthdate), then click Add Client.
3. Once your account is set up, click on the Activities tab, enter
barcode #3495 and click the Add button.
4. Choose the name in your account that is registering the
engraving and click the Go to Checkout button. You will be prompted to
enter your veteran's information and the name of any givers you wish to list
(if you list multiple people in one line, please separate by commas).
5. If you're purchasing another engraving, After filling in the
blanks, click Save and Go To My Basket.
6. Repeat steps 3 & 4 and choose a different name
in your account as the "client" for each additional engraving. When you're
done, click Save and Go To Checkout.
7. You will be prompted to fill in your credit card information
(note: the payment server is Verisign secured). Click Complete
Transaction.
8. You will see a page confirming your purchase.

Sponsor-A-Vet Program
The Sponsor-A-Vet program is a way to provide
financial assistance to honor a veteran. Eligible participants can
receive up to $200 towards the purchase of an engraving. To apply for
the program, please write a letter explaining your need for financial
assistance and submit it to the Honoring All Veterans Memorial group in care
of the Richfield Community Center, 7000 Nicollet Ave, Richfield, MN 55423 or

Sponsor-A-Vet Program
Guidelines1. All
applications submitted to the Sponsor-A-Vet Program must be accompanied by a
letter stating the requester's need for assistance.
2. The maximum amount of assistance awarded by the Sponsor-A-Vet Program will
be $200.00 per application.
3. The Sponsor-A Vet Program may subsidize up to 3 donations per family
group. A "family group" is defined as ALL RELATED FAMILY MEMBERS REQUESTING
naming on the Honoring All Veterans Memorial monument.
4. If a Family Group application is submitted, even those which may include a
Sponsor-A-Vet Program application, none of the names will be submitted for
engraving until all applications are PAID IN FULL.
5. All Sponsor-A-Vet Program requests will be reviewed by the Honoring All
Veterans Memorial Board or the Sponsor-A-Vet Subcommittee according to the
above-listed criteria. Once a determination has been rendered, the requestor
will be notified in writing of the Board/Subcommittee's decision. This process
could take approximately four to six weeks.
